They all work extremely well. My favorite is this JASON shampoo with 86% Aloe Vera. It works excellently and has no chemicals at all. It's all natural extracts. You might also be interested in this brand called Alba. Let me know if you get into any of the above. It took about 2 months for my hair to normalize. It's different for everyone I think.

I used Aubrey Organics Honeysuckle when I just couldn't stand the oilies anymore. It's all natural and doesn't sud at all. I keep it on hand just for bad hair days.

I just washed with water everyday and scrubbed my scalp good. Sometimes I would brush in the shower and/or use a washcloth on my hair during transition. There are other ideas in the thread.

Good Luck. I think it's worth it.
XO
Pixy LisaLisa (Pixywinks)https://www.blogger.com/profile/15783375891897003163noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21787005.post-67539213241652842462008-10-14T19:53:00.000-07:002008-10-14T19:53:00.000-07:00I just took a shower using baking soda... and appl...I just took a shower using baking soda... and apple cider vinegar.

weird... i will let you know what my hair is like when it dries.

I might stick with just massaging my scalp with water, like in Nature.

Apparently the greasiness only lasts for 6 weeks... and its not all the time, its only sometimes.

My hair doesnt look greasy at all. I dont know what to expect though.

and as far as the other comment you posted, sure, you can upload the jump pic.badashhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10994087264969389868noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21787005.post-32595841350380674272008-10-14T19:44:00.000-07:002008-10-14T19:44:00.000-07:00Well I'm clueless here. I'm sure someone out there knows what you could use as a safe alternative. Otherwise, best of luck in beanie land for the next few months.Omegachuckhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01323072295568603272noreply@blogger.com
